Marquis of Granby - Alkham

At least 7/10 - Good pub !!! Good Food, Especially if you like fish food (Dover Sole in particular, or Steak and Ale) - Good selection of Beers - Parking is a bit tricky. Not Cheap !!! But, you get what you pay for.
From Folkestone head for Canterbury via Blackbull Road, as if you were to go through Hawkinge. Just before you reach the M20 over bridge at the bottom of Hawkinge Hill, turn right at the Dover sign. This will take you along the Alkham Valley road. You'll need to follow this road under the M20 over bridge, go past the Hockley Sole turning and Ceramic Patio slabs place, and on to the village of Alkham. You'll know that you have reached Alkham, when you go past the garden centre on the right and then this is followed by a speed camera. The pub is on the left up a hill.
