Routes for your Mobile Phone

With technology constantly advancing, we at Ourwalks are trying to keep up with modern times and the gadgets and gizmos that most of us carry around on our persons. This will inevivatbly mean that paper maps will be a thing of the past, as they'll be superceded by media players displaying routes, maps and pictures. We've managed to team up with KCC to produce the following routes, which you can download from us or from the link below, linking to their very own download page. If you download the ZIP files on to your PC first, then transfer the JPG images within the ZIP file to your mobile via USB data cable, you should then be able to view the walk as a slideshow on your mobile, with written route directions, followed by a map showing where you are and where you need to go, and then finally a photograph of where you are, what you should now be seeing and the direction you need to follow. The files are small, and will not take up much space on your memory card. We would suggest that you save them to the expandable memory card (SD card, Mini SD card, or Micro SD card usually). If you have an Ipod or an MP3 Player that can show images, these will also work with the downloadable ZIP files
